The ILF Solar Photovoltaic & Hybrid Systems team works across a vast range of large-scale projects an programs, both grid connected and off-grid across private and public sectors globally. Tasks that motivate:
You will create detailed site layouts using design software such as AutoCAD, PVCAD and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure optimal design and to help you learn and grow your experience.
You will work with internal tools to calculate Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and operational Expenditure (OPEX).
You will participate in the preparation of comprehensive technical reports documenting project specifications, basis of design and performance analyses.
You will assist in conducting energy yield assessments to predict the performance of solar PV systems.
Analyzing data will enable you to optimize system design and performance.
Using specialized software will help you to model an simulate energy production.
Qualifications that impress:
Student in the field of renewable energies, electrical engineering, power engineering or similar
Strong understanding of PV system design and energy yield assessment
Experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) and solar design software (e.g. PVSYST, Homer Pro)
Fluent English skills are essential for effective communication and writing technical reports, proficiency in German or French is a plus
Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design is an advantage
You should be able to communicate findings effectively with the project team
